It's a game that's been playing out in what is now Israel for centuries. Religious head banging is the game and it's for what ?
The Muslim, Christian, and Jewish fight over a piece of real estate may be a righteous one in the eyes of fundamentalists in any of those sects however the bloodshed for this property seems less that an act of mercy.
Can it be that a similar religious head banging war is seeding itself on American soil. This is definitely a possibility.
The New York 9/11 incident is well documented and by now most conspiracy theories of a government sabotaging it's citizens freedom in order to fuel the war machine have been put to rest. But in reality the public still hasn't really regained trust in governing bodies.
American politics are said to be highly influenced by the vote of Christians and this is evident when one looks at the affiliations of past Presidents and Presidential candidates to the evangelical leaders such as Billy Graham and Jerry Falwell. Christian votes are powerful motivators to people seeking to advance themselves in politics.
Recently much of this played itself out on the major news stations and on internet news blogs. When I watched, I couldn't help but asking myself whether Obama is a leader that will push humanity towards a spirit of Tezcatlipoca or one of Quetzalcoatl; towards a darker collective consciousness or a saner human zeitgeist.
The religious head banging scenario on American real estate involves the building of a Muslim mosque near the Ground Zero 9/11 site. The question being asked to those playing 2012 politics in America is whether or not this is an ethical move.
We are reminded by some media people that President Obama was born a Muslim but has recently converted to Christianity. I saw this on a newscast that was stating how Billy Graham was a non partisan peace making Christian but that his son Franklin Graham was, unlike his father, quite capable and ready to play partisan politics. When the reporter asked Franklin about the true Christian devotion of Obama, Graham replied that it was not is place to judge.
In another related news item it was revealed that when the Muslim Mosque and Ground Zero issue first broke out that Obama was almost supportive of a friendly mosque being erected in New York. However Obama's suddenly had set his political sails for a new course when he announced that perhaps the mosque location should be reconsidered.
The question here was whether or not Obama was playing the crowd and looking to win votes by increasing his public support which is very low. (Christian fellowship may have it's merits !!!!)
However, step aside from this 2012 religion and 2012 politics base for a second and consider that the American Muslim/Christian/Jewish issue is no different than the Middle East Muslim/Christian/Judaism issue.
In a world of globalization all of this just seems to smell of one world order and religious head banging that is leading to one world religion.
Here is another opinion that could be filed under religious head banging.
